Objectives of the lesson :
Before activating and using the TS4 mobile application, note that users must already have downloaded the TS4 mobile application on their smartphone and that two configurations must be activated (if not already done) in the back office version of your TowSoft. Type “Download the TS4 mobile app” or “Switch Your Users to the TS4 Mobile App” in the search engine if you need more details regarding these operations.
Once this is done, you can proceed with either one of the following methods to provide the ID to any user (or for yourself as a dispatch)
Option 1 (easy) -> Sending the IDs via SMS
Option 2 (backup option) -> Copy and pasting the ID from the mobile site
From their smartphone, users should open a window from their web browser (Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and connect to the Towsoft address of the towing company (e.g.: towing123.towsoft.ca). From there, they will be asked to enter their username and password. If they don’t remember it, you can find their username from the user settings section and simply reset their password.
Once they enter their login information, a window will open with the user ID, from which they can simply press the notepad icon to copy it.
With the username copied to your smartphone memory, now go to the TS4 mobile app and it will ask for your user ID.
Press in the text field to the right of “Username:” and leave your finger on the screen for a while and this will trigger the option to paste what is copied to the phone memory. Paste the ID and press the “Connect” button.
You will then be asked to enter your username and password, as usual, and you will then be able to start using the app!
