Objectives of the lesson :
You are in the actions menu when you press the flashing arrows at the bottom of the screen, while you are in the call card. Note that this menu can sometimes have more than one page, depending on the way your system is configured. In that case, you would see the two small dots at the bottom of the second image below.
Pop open the actions menu
When you see the small dots, swipe screen left to see the other actions
“PAUSE” button ⇒ Place from which you can manage your breaks.
Status change button (upper right corner) ⇒ Place from which you report your progress through the various stages of the call.
“SIGNATURE” button ⇒ Place from which you can collect the various disclaimers which are often needed to complete the calls.
“PICTURE” button ⇒ Place from which you can add one or more pictures to document the call.
“PARTS SALE” (optional) ⇒ Place from which you can add parts you sold during your intervention and that will be added to the invoice.
“STANDBY FOR IMPOUND” (optional) ⇒ Place from which you can enter all the information relating to the impound where you are taking the vehicle.
“NOTES” ⇒ Place from which you can add notes that are relevant to the call and which your dispatch will be notified of in TowSoft Messenger.
“SEND” ⇒ Place from which you can send the relevant documents to the different parties involved in the call (account, insurer and/or vehicle owner).
“SWITCH DRIVER” (optional) ⇒ Place from which you can transfer the call to another driver, in the event of an impediment. The button will not be displayed if your system administrator has not enabled it.
“BACK ON HOLD” (optional) ⇒ Place from which you can put the call back on hold if you’ve mistakenly dispatched it to a driver and should not have. The button will not be displayed if your system administrator has not enabled it.
