Changing Your Availability Status (Time Punching) In the TS4 Mobile App

In this lesson, we demonstrate how to manage your time stamp (punch) status inside the TS4 mobile app.

  • Be able to indicate to the rest of the team your availability status from the mobile app



Lesson Content

You can easily change your availability status so that other team members can know whether or not you are on duty. To do this, you must tap on the circle with your initials or profile picture in the upper right corner of the dashboard.

 

 

 

From there, you can set yourself as being in one of the following 3 statuses: On duty, Standby or Off duty. The highlighted status is the one you are in currently (Off duty, below). Note that your TowSoft system also keeps track of the hours you have been in any of these statuses so that the employers can track your time.

 

 

 

On Duty Status

 

You must set yourself as On Duty when opening the TS4 app at the start of each working day.

 

Off Duty status

 

You must set yourself as Off Duty when your workday is over and you are not on standby.

 

Standby Status

 

You must set yourself as Standby when your work day is over, but you are designated as an emergency operator on the nightwatch.

 

 

TIME PUNCHING REMINDERS


 

Depending on your system configurations, your administrator may have enabled punch in (and punch out) reminders. If this option is activated, you will have this window which will be displayed whenever you connect to the app.

 

 

 

 

In Punch Status, please specify the status in which you want to start your shift.

In Shift, please specify your expected end of shift, so that TowSoft sends you a notification when your shift ends to remind you to change your status.
