Configuring Quick Messages for Towsoft Messenger

In this lesson, we show you how to set up quick messages so that they are available to all of your users in TowSoft Messenger.

  • Know where you can set up quick messages, edit them, and turn them off.

Quick messages are those that appear above the field where you write your messages in TowSoft Messenger, both in the back office version and in the TS4 mobile application.

 

If you don’t see any, it is because none are configured for the moment.

Note that the quick messages are displayed in order of frequency of use on the device that is being used (mobile, computer, tablet). Ex. If a driver answers “10-4” more often than the other quick messages on his smartphone, it will be the first in the suggestions.

 

 

 

To configure, modify or deactivate a quick message

 

Click on the “Quick Messages” option under “Settings” in the menu to the left in the backoffice version of TowSoft. The screen below will appear.

 

 

 

 

 

Click on the blue “Add” button in the right corner of the screen to add a new message or on the button with the three dots “…” to the right of an already created message to modify or deactivate it .

In the window that will open, what you write in the “Label” field is exactly what will show up in your quick messages.

 

 

 

Click the green “Add / Save” button at the bottom of the window and the quick message will now appear in Towsoft Messenger.
