Lesson Content

Calls can be created in 2 different ways inside the TS4 mobile app:

-> Dashboard

-> Navigation menu

Creating a call is divided into 5 sections that you are probably already familiar with:

1- Date and time

2- Client

3- Intervention

4- Vehicle or Cargo

5- Remarks

A well-detailed call is ideal, but you don’t have to fill in all the fields to create one. In fact, the only 2 fields that must absolutely be completed to confirm a call are the service code and the place of intervention.

Several fields (eg nature of intervention) force you to choose from options in a drop-down menu. Note that these have been configured beforehand by the Towsoft system administrator.

Also, as we wanted to simplify the view for creating a call, some fields are hidden by default and can only be displayed if you press “+ PLUS”.

THE SECTIONS

Quick navigation menu

Sometimes you just want to enter a few key pieces of information to quickly create a call. The quick navigation menu, located at the top of the screen and containing 4 icons, has been created for this purpose.

The first icon takes you directly to the Customer section.

The second icon takes you directly to the Intervention section.

The third icon will take you directly to the Vehicle or Cargo section.

The fourth icon takes you directly to the Notes section.

“Date and time” section

It is located under the quick navigation menu. By default, it displays the date of the current day and the time at which you created the call. However, by tapping on this field, you can easily choose a new date and time for the call.

Further to the right, you have the call number. The latter was created automatically by the Towsoft system.

“Customer” section

Information relating to the beneficiary of your service, as well as the customer account to whom the service will be billed.

“Intervention” section

Information on the location as well as the nature of the intervention.

Section “Vehicle or Cargo”

Information relating to the vehicle or cargo to be transported.

 “Remarks” section

Any additional details to know about the call.

Then press “Confirm” to confirm the call.
